This illustration is another that I’ve done for our wedding invitations: specifically, this one appears on the cover, in a sort of homage to the original posters for the Back to the Future trilogy.
I am particularly proud of the colouring and shading with this one: I am by no means a car fanatic, nor am I much good at drawing cars in general, but this one turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it to.
All of the line art was hand drawn on a Wacom Cintiq, with the exception of certain parts of the delorean, which were done using line tools in Photoshop. I also used some free textures for the banding around the front bumper and for the stainless steel chassis.
